| 1. What do Lutherans believe? |
|
|
|
Lutherans are Christians who
believe that we are saved by God's grace, not because of anything we do.
To learn more about what Lutherans believe, you can go to the web
site of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

| 2. What are your worship services like? |
| |
| We have three different kinds of
worship services each Sunday. At 8:30am we gather for
traditional Lutheran worship in the sanctuary. This worship is
liturgically based and uses the organ for accompaniment. We sing more
traditional hymns during this service. At 11am
we have a contemporary service in the Trinity Life Center.
That is also liturgically based, but we use a keyboard, guitar, and
drums. We sing contemporary Christian music and use
PowerPoint.
We have a third worship service each week at
5pm in the sanctuary. It is also liturgically based, but it is
guitar-led and uses contemporary Christian songs. It is a
candlelight service. All three services offer
communion each week. |

| 3. How long has Trinity been here? |
| |
| The congregation began back when
John Reister founded Reisterstown. The congregation stopped
meeting for several years, but became a congregation again in 1855.
In 1907 they built the building we currently use on Main Street.
Since then we have built two additions: the Education Building in
the 1960's and the fellowship hall - what we call the Trinity Life
Center - in 2002. Visit our Church History Web page for more
information. |

|
| 4. Why are there signs for two different
churches on your front lawn? |
| |
| In 2006 Majestic Fellowship
Church moved from their location on Main Street to our facility.
They currently rent office and worship space from us. We feel
blessed to have them share our facilities. |

| 5. What is your confirmation program like? |
| |
| Our confirmation program is
usually for those in 7th and 8th grade. We start the year off
in August when our confirmands attend confirmation camp. If
you are interested in the program, please email
Pastor Tim. |
